Privacy

We keep what the house needs to work, and nothing to follow you with.

No tracking

There are no analytics or advertising scripts on this site, no tracking pixels, and no fonts served by other companies. Each video waits behind a still image, which your browser fetches from YouTube’s image server when the video comes into view; the player itself loads only when you press play, from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain and under YouTube’s own policy.

If you sign in, we set one cookie that keeps you signed in. It is not shared with anyone and it is removed when you sign out. If you never sign in, we set no cookies at all.

Your browser also keeps a few small preferences on your own device, never sent to us: whether Calm mode is on, your recent searches, and a draft of any Academy capstone you are writing.

What we keep

Your account
Your name, email address, and, if you give them, your church and a short bio. Your password is stored only as a one-way hash. Your motion and sound preferences.
Your progress
The Academy paths you enroll in, the lessons you complete, your check scores, and any certificates, with the name you choose to print on them.
Your drill answers
What you write in the Objection Lab and in capstones, with your own self-assessment, so you can see your history. They are not published.
Debate requests
What you send through the request form: your name, email, organization, the resolution, format, venue, dates and links, and your consent to recording.
Messages
What you write through the contact page, including any page and source you name in a correction.

With debate requests and messages we also store a salted, one-way hash of your network address, so that abuse can be recognized without keeping the address itself. Like any web server, ours keeps technical request logs, to keep the site running and secure.

Email

We send email only when it is needed: to verify your address and welcome you, to reset a password, to confirm a debate request and tell you when its status changes, to tell you a certificate has been issued, and to answer what you send us. These messages are delivered through Resend, an email service that handles them on our behalf. We send no newsletters.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself from the Account page; you will be asked for your password. That removes your account, your enrollments and progress, your drill answers, your saved items and your certificates. Debate requests and messages you sent were addressed to us and stay on our desk, but they are no longer linked to an account.

If you would like those removed as well, or cannot sign in, write to us and we will do it.

Questions

Write to [email protected], or use the contact page. We will tell you what we hold about you.
